Renting Campus Facilities

Upon certain conditions and terms, Saint Mary’s School permits the rental of campus facilities. SMS facilities typically rented include Ragland and Pittman Auditoriums, the Chapel, Bacon gymnasium, the swimming pool, board rooms, classrooms, Nimocks Athletic Field and the practice field. Arrangements must be made with SMS from 30 days to two weeks in advance, depending on the facility and the size of the group. A contract, proof of insurance and advance payment are required from clients who rent SMS facilities.

Catering

Outside catering is allowed, but SMS provides no kitchen facilities, so food must arrive ready-to-serve.

AV Equipment

Audio-Visual equipment is available, but additional fees may apply. SMS requires advance notification of any special setup requiring AV equipment, chairs or tables.

Pets

Pets are not allowed in SMS facilities.

Smoking

Smoking is prohibited on campus.

Alcoholic Beverages

The serving of alcoholic beverages is prohibited on campus.

Security

The school provides round the clock security. Security personnel are assigned to specific areas and are aware of scheduled activities on campus and of an event’s authorized participants. Security will grant clients access to the approved facilities during the agreed-upon time.

Weddings in Saint Mary's Chapel

The Saint Mary’s School Chapel is available to rent for wedding services.
