We look forward to getting to know you!
The admission process can be broken into four parts: forms from the applicant's family, recommendations and transcript from the applicant's current school, SSAT testing, and an interview at Saint Mary's School.
Part 1: Forms from the Applicant's Family
The application form provides Saint Mary's School with contact and background information about prospective students. The student's social security number and parent/guardian signature are both required. Applicants must submit the Student Statement, and applicants' parents must complete the corresponding Parent Statement. Click here to download an application.
Part 2: Recommendations and Transcript from the Applicant's Current School
Applicants should complete the top portion of the Guidance Counselor Recommendation, English Teacher Recommendation, and the Mathematics Teacher Recommendation and deliver them to the appropriate person at their current school. The counselor and teachers should send the recommendations directly to the Saint Mary's School Admission Office. (Applicants may want to provide a stamped, addressed envelope with the recommendation to expedite the process.) The Personal Recommendation is optional.
The current school's guidance counselor or registrar must also send the applicant's most recent academic transcript and standardized testing.

Each applicant is responsible for her own SSAT registration. Please visit http://www.ssat.org/ to register online. The test is offered at a variety of locations across the US and internationally. Please use the Saint Mary's School code #6790 when registering to ensure that our Admission Office will receive the scores.

A campus visit and interview are required for all applicants. Please call the Admission Office at 919-424-4100 to schedule your visit to campus. We look forward to meeting you!
