Saint Mary’s School proudly boasts more than 10,000 living alumnae, and every alumna is a member of the Alumnae Association and a vital part of our school’s heritage. Our Alumnae Association was created in 1879 by an ambitious group of 50 alumnae. In their words, “Our object is not only to maintain a friendly interest in each other’s welfare, and to preserve a cordial affection for our alma mater, but also to give tangible expression to those sentiments.” The school’s Alumnae Office continues those goals today to keep alumnae connected with each other and with the school. Through events such as reunions and regional alumnae gatherings, through volunteer and giving opportunities, and through a variety of communications such as this alumnae webpage, print and electronic publications and social media, we hope to foster among alumnae a feeling of support and friendship for each other and loyalty to our alma mater.
Please contact us with your feedback, questions and suggestions about this website and all of our alumnae programs and communications.

Alumnae Council
The purpose of the Saint Mary’s Alumnae Council is to support and promote the school through its work with admission, communications and development. Members of the Alumnae Council represent the general Alumnae Association membership and serve a two-year term. Many volunteer on campus and assist with events both on campus and off. The Alumnae Office partners with the Alumnae Council and works to strengthen the relationship with alumnae.

Young Alumnae Advisory Board
The purpose of the Young Alumnae Advisory Board is to foster relationships with and keep alumnae who graduated between 1997 and 2007 connected to Saint Mary’s School. The Board members work with those in their class as well as in their regional area to encourage volunteerism, annual giving and to create opportunities for young alumnae to gather. The board works directly with the Alumnae Office and the members serve for two-years. The inaugural board was created during the fall of 2011 with a goal of creating a strategic plan that will build a young alumnae program at Saint Mary’s.
