Saint Mary’s School’s music program offers a wide variety of expert instrumental and vocal instruction by dedicated teachers. You may take private lessons in voice, piano, guitar, flute, clarinet, violin, viola and cello. Other instrumental instruction is available upon request. Students sing in Chorale and perform in a variety of instrumental ensembles, including String Ensemble, Honors String Ensemble and Flute Ensemble. Our acoustically superb performance venue, Smedes Parlor, has been a cultural focal point for North Carolina since the 1840s. You may be one of the budding virtuosos to perform in a student recital or professional concert in this beautiful, historic room.
