SMS senior serves on CAM Raleigh Teen Council

Posted September 7, 2012

Congratulations to Page Reynolds ’13, who was recently selected to serve on the Contemporary Art Museum (CAM) Raleigh Teen Council for the 2012-2013 academic year.

Comprised of dedicated high school students from across the Triangle region, the CAM Raleigh Teen Council develop programs, events and Museum-focused materials for their peers. Page is one of 15 students selected to serve this year.

An artist and painter, Page is excited about helping to bring art to more people, specifically other teens. She’s also eager to understand more about what happens to art when it leaves the studio. “I’m interested in learning about what goes on behind the scenes in a museum”, she says, “Art management, developing exhibits – those kinds of things. I'm looking forward to it."

CAM Raleigh Teen Council meets weekly to help develop programs and museum resources for other teens. For more information about this program, visit CAM Raleigh Teen Council.
