Visual Arts

Because the visual arts program at Saint Mary's School teaches all students art appreciation and skills in various art disciplines, it does not matter whether you are a beginner or an advanced student. Field trips, slides, videos, Internet exploration, community service projects and participation in art exhibitions enhance your classroom experiences. You’ll have the opportunity to express your creativity in ways you can only begin to imagine.

Spoleto Study Abroad
Saint Mary’s participates in the consortium of independent schools that sends students to the Spoleto Study Abroad Summer Program in renowned Spoleto, Italy. This educational journey features a rich and varied curriculum in the arts. Excursions to medieval hill towns of Central Italy and to cultural centers such as Florence, Assisi, Tivoli and Siena offer students a chance to view significant artistic and historical masterpieces firsthand.
