August 19                                     International students begin arriving

August 19-20                               Day students: tablet and textbook pick up

August 20                                     Domestic boarding students – traveling by air or mass transit only - arrive

August 21-22                               Virtual orientations

August 24                                     Virtual classes begin | Off-campus students begin two-week, self-quarantine*

September 4                                 Returning domestic boarding student leaders – traveling by car only - arrive

September 5                                 Returning domestic boarding students – traveling by car only – arrive

September 6                                 New domestic boarding students – traveling by car only – arrive

September 7                                 Labor Day (no classes)

September 8                                 On-campus classes begin

November 20                               Thanksgiving early dismissal at 12:30 p.m.

November 21                               Dorms close at 10 a.m.

November 21 - 30                       Thanksgiving Break

December 1                                 Virtual classes resume

December 18 - January 5             Christmas Break       

January 6                                      Classes resume

*The parameters for self-quarantine will be set by the school in mid-August, based on recommendations and guidelines from state and local health officials in response to COVID-19 conditions.

NOTE: The 2020-2021 Academic Calendar does not include a fall break in order to limit COVID-19 exposure in our community. At the discretion of the Head of School, rest days will be scheduled at intervals during the first semester.
