Beginning in 2024, we can celebrate the Alumnae Association's 145th anniversary and the 90th anniversary of the Annual Fund.

In December 1955, the Alumnae Secretary Mary Jo Paul wrote, “Through Annual Alumnae Giving, we each will share in the progress of St. Mary’s. St. Mary’s can remain a valuable center of real Christian education only if alumnae and friends awake to the actual need for financial support. We do not say to our Red Cross, our United Fund, our Church campaign, ‘I gave something last year – why do they always need money?’ We ask first of all, ‘Is this a cause that I believe in?’ When we recognize the worth of the cause, we give to the limit of our ability. Christian education is worth saving but it will take money and loyalty from each of us.”
