Heritage Walk
About The Heritage Walk and Memorial Walkway
Saint Mary’s School's Heritage Walk and the Grove of Stately Oaks Memorial Walkway recognize the bonds of friendship and family through the symbolism of interlocking paver stones. The Heritage Walk is located between the Chapel and Pittman Auditorium. It bears the names of alumnae and others in the Saint Mary’s community who are honored and memorialized by loved ones through the purchase of a Heritage Brick. The Memorial Walkway is located in our Grove of Stately Oaks. Renovated in memory of Gray Proctor Clark, ’52HS ’54C in 2017 as a part of the 175th Gala Celebration, this walkway offers opportunities for loved ones to recognize the bonds of family and friendship through the symbolism of the entrance to our beloved campus with 12 x 12 memorial and honorarium paver stones. We regret we cannot guarantee requests for specific placements, though we will try our best to accommodate families with existing brick placements.
