Girls across the country seeking an exciting 24/7 learning and living high-school community are invited to apply to the boarding program at Saint Mary's.

Here, you will find a home-away-from-home with Saint Mary's 360-degree approach to high school. A team of educational experts works together to guide you in academic and extracurricular course selection, college essays, and more. Extended access to campus facilities, additional time spent with teachers and peers, and a vibrant downtown Raleigh location, further enrich your experience as you discover your unique talents, interests, and life goals.

Saint Mary's welcomes applications from qualified international students on a rolling basis as space allows. To be considered for admission to Saint Mary’s, candidates need to:

• Submit the Application here
• Provide an official school transcript
• Complete a placement assessment: SSAT, PSAT, Saint Mary’s placement, etc
• For students who do not speak English as a first language, please submit a TOEFL, iBT, ILETS, Duolingo score and/or provide a writing sample
• Teacher recommendations from a school official (additional recommendations as requested by admission counselor)
• Personal Interview done via Zoom or on campus
• $100 application fee

We offer our day students the opportunity to expand their Saint Mary's School experience by participating in the school's seasonal boarding option.

Available in coordination with our athletics seasons, (fall, winter, and spring), seasonal boarding gives day students the opportunity to fully experience residential life at Saint Mary's for part of an academic year. Students may participate in up to two sessions of seasonal boarding per school year. All day students are eligible to participate; however, 9th grade students must wait until the winter season to participate.
