Each May, commencement celebrates the culmination of each girl’s Saint Mary’s education, as seniors process from Smedes Hall through the Grove of stately oak trees to receive their high school diplomas in a beautiful, traditional ceremony filled with pomp and circumstance and joy. By all accounts, Saint Mary’s commencement embodies personal touches of academic excellence, personal achievement, friendship, tradition, grace, honor, dignity, and courage that are hallmarks of the Saint Mary’s experience.

  • May 13th Spring Sports Assembly in Pittman, 3:30pm 

  • May 15th Honors Convocation in Pittman, 2:00pm-4:00pm 

  • May 15th Commencement Rehearsal in the Chapel, 9:00am-11:00am

  • May 16th Senior Family Dinner on the Hannah Smith '12 Quad 6:00pm-8:00pm

  • May 17th Baccalaureate in the Chapel, 9:30am-10:15am

  • May 17th Commencement in the Grove, 10:30am-12:00pm
  • May 17th Commencement Celebration Reception, immediately following Commencement, Smedes-Emory Parlor

CAP AND GOWN ORDERS

Cap and Gown Orders are due January 9th. Please make sure your order is placed on time so that all caps and gowns can arrive on time. To only order the Cap/Gown/Tassel, scroll toward the bottom of the page where you'll find the $39.00 option for "Cap, Gown, and Tassel". The yellow High Honors tassel is GPA dependent and will not be given out to those that qualify until cords are given out at Commencement Rehearsal.

We're excited to receive your photos for the Class of 2026 senior slideshow to be shown during Senior Dinner on Saturday, May 16, 2026. Please note that all photos must be uploaded from either a computer, mobile device, or tablet and be in image format (.jpg, .png, .tiff). No Word documents, PDFs, or non-image files will upload.
 
Please complete the information below so that we may be sure all photos submitted for each student are uploaded and attached to the individual student name. Photos requested are a baby photo and four other photos from the student(s) time at Saint Mary's. If you are not comfortable with a baby photo, then an additional Saint Mary's photo may be uploaded. We need five photos please.
