Saint Mary’s is conducting a fully in-person fall 2021 semester. There will be no virtual learning option.
Should there be a stay-at-home order or other circumstances related to COVID-19 necessitating the closure of Saint Mary’s campus for any length of time, the school will pivot and return to a virtual learning environment, as needed.
Saint Mary’s began the 2020-2021 school year with two weeks of virtual learning for all students before resuming in-person learning for most students from September 8- November 20. The school finished the fall term with a three week period of virtual learning for all students between the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday breaks and one week in January 2021 before returning once again for in-person classes. We successfully remained in an on-campus, socially distanced, in-person learning environment for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year, and plan to operate fully in-person for 2021-2022.
"I am so grateful to the faculty and administration of Saint Mary's during this trying time. Your decisions are well researched, thought out, and regularly communicated. In these times of uncertainty, it is comforting to have institutions proceeding in ways that are adaptive yet true to the mission."
