Live in the Quad, 2021 spring concert

The choral department at Saint Mary’s School encourages all singers to find their voices.

The Saint Mary’s choral program is open to girls at a beginning level or a more advanced level. Our Chorale performs over 40 concerts a year at many campus and community events and has has been invited to perform in exciting performance venues like Carnegie Hall in New York City, Symphony Hall in Chicago, and in 2022 at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN. Saint Mary's Chorale also collaborates with other regional schools to provide additional performance experience.

Saint Mary's Chorale Invited to the National Festival of the States Concert Series, 2022 - Nashville, TN

Saint Mary's Chorale has been invited to Nashville, TN, to participate in the National Festival of the States Concert Series, with the culminating performance held at the GRAND OLE OPRY where we will walk in the footsteps of country music's superstars and get an exclusive look at what happens behind the scenes of the show that made country music famous!

The trip will take place March 9-14, 2022, culminating with the Chorale’s concert performance at the Grand Ole Opry on March 12.

Mary Virginia Swain '77C

Saint Mary's Visual and Performing Arts (VPA) Department students, faculty, and families celebrated the year in the arts at the 2019 Celebration of the Arts, Sunday, April 28, with breakfast in Chan-Poyner Hall followed by the celebration and awards in Eliza Battle Pittman Auditorium.
