Educational Travel

Travel is proven to broaden the mind, enrich the soul and educate us about new places and other cultures. The Saint Mary’s School educational travel program is designed to provide students with experiential opportunities that build empathy and compassion for others. In turn, when students return to campus their experiences enrich our Saint Mary’s community. We believe these experiences build important skills like cross-cultural intelligence, communication, growth mindset and create globally competent leaders for today and tomorrow. The program is designed to provide students with a range of experiences from which students may choose, including service trips, academic exchanges, cultural excursions and history trips.

Trips are offered throughout the academic year and during the summer. Most of our educational travel offerings are school-sponsored trips, however there are also trips organized in partnership with other schools or sanctioned by Saint Mary's. Deadlines for all travel opportunities come in the early fall, so planning ahead is important when considering a travel experience.
