For New Families: May 13 2019 Email

  •  Final Transcript Request form so they may send that transcript to Saint Mary's at the end of the school year.

Course Selection | Academic Support | Advisor Forms

The following information is organized by grade level. Please complete the appropriate items as soon as possible, but by no later than Friday, June 14. We recommend that students take the assessments while the school year's coursework is still fresh in her mind. Once all items and your daughter's final transcript for the 2018-2019 school year have been received, you will receive notification in late summer regarding course placements.

For students entering 9th Grade

  • Elective Selection Form asks you to rank your choice of Visual and Performing Arts (VPA) electives. Click here for the Curriculum Overview, which lists VPA electives (art, theatre, dance, Chorale, Applied music) and required prerequisites.
  • World Language Selection and Placement Testing: If your daughter is currently taking a world language and wants to continue in that language, please click on the appropriate language placement test link: French | Latin | Spanish.
    If your daughter has never taken a world language or wants to switch to studying a different language, please click here. Questions? Contact Ms. Narbona at snarbona@sms.edu.
  • Math Placement Test: Click here to take the math placement test. The purpose of this test is to assess your mathematics ability and readiness so that you will be placed in a course that is appropriately challenging and that offers you the best chance for success. Questions? Contact Dr. Holstein at kholstein@sms.edu.
  • Academic Support Form: If your daughter has any special educational considerations, please use this form to provide information to our Academic Support team.
  • Advisor Form: This questionnaire will help Saint Mary's assign your daughter to an advisor.

For students entering 10th-12th Grade

For NEW boarding students

All new boarding students must complete the Roommate Questionnaire. This information will assist Saint Mary's in pairing your daughter with a roommate for the 2019-2020 school year. Roommate assignments are published in mid-August.
