Commencement 2019

Saint Mary's School Class of 2019 will graduate during commencement exercises in the school's historic oak Grove, Sunday, May 19, 2019.

Commencement day begins with a 9:30 a.m. Chapel Baccalaureate service for the graduates and their families. Following the service, the graduating seniors will process through the Grove, receiving the traditional purple iris along the way. Commencement exercises begin at 10:30 a.m. and are followed by a celebratory luncheon for the graduates, their families and friends, and all members of the Saint Mary's community.

Cokie Roberts is Saint Mary's 2019 commencement speaker

Saint Mary's Head of School Brendan O'Shea is pleased to announce that political commentator and best-selling author Cokie Roberts, has accepted the invitation to serve as Saint Mary's 2019 commencement speaker. Commencement exercises for Saint Mary's 177th academic session will be held Sunday, May 19, at 10:30 a.m., in the school's historic oak Grove in downtown Raleigh.
