Duke University
Saint Mary's School invites our Triangle-area alumnae, faculty, and staff, to join with us and the alumnae of Madeira, Miss Hall's, and Wellesley College, to hear directly from Dr. Elisabeth "Betsy" Griffith, former Madeira Head of School, and author of Formidable: American Women and the Fight for Equality: 1920-2020. Dr. Griffith will discuss her book and answer questions during an author chat on Friday, February 10, 2023, at 7 p.m. Alumnae, faculty, and staff are invited to register by Feb. 1, using this link.

This exciting event will take place in Room 209 of the East Duke Building on the Duke University campus, at 1304 Campus Dr, Durham, NC 27705.

Small Parlor

Set up for:
HOT tea- paper cups, tea bags, sweeteners, etc.
Cups for the cold drinks as well

For B and G:
Large Parlor-
Set up like scholarship tea
String quartet in front of the breakfront- so they will be playing facing the Head of School hallway
The 8 tables with 8 chairs each scattered around the parlor
Keep the big chairs and couches and coffee tables in front of them to provide overflow

Small Parlor-
2 6x8 tables down the middle with set up for
Hot tea, lemonade, and water

I will figure out about tablecloths, arrangements, and food

Burning Coal Theatre Company
Saint Mary's School's Visual and Performing Arts Department presents Chicago at Burning Coal Theatre Company (224 Polk St, Raleigh, NC 27604), March 23-25, 2023. The Preview Performance (3/23/23) is for the internal campus community (students, faculty, staff). The performances on 3/24 and 3/25 are open to the public and our Saint Mary's families.
