Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees. To find out if your company has a matching gift policy, please visit the employer matching gift search page and enter your employer's name.
If your company is eligible, request a matching gift form from your employer. Complete, sign, and send it the form with your gift to Saint Mary's School and we will do the rest. The impact of your gift to Saint Mary's may be doubled or possibly tripled! Some companies match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses as well.
The recurring gift program is an easy, secure, and convenient way to support Saint Mary’s School. You simply select an amount to be billed to your credit card each month, every-other-month, or quarterly. Recurring gifts reduce administration costs, allowing more of each gift to be used immediately to support the top priorities at Saint Mary’s School. Because your annual gift will be broken into smaller monthly amounts, a recurring gift may allow you to increase your yearly contributions to the next level.

Making a gift of property allows a donor to avoid the capital gains tax while also allowing a charitable deduction for the full fair market value for property held over one year. A formal appraisal is required for gifts of real estate, and school officials must formally accept the gift before it is completed.
Donors may also make gifts of personal property. Please note that the school does not place a value on gifts-in-kind. Internal Revenue Service regulations assign that responsibility to the donor.

A pledge is a donor’s commitment to making a future gift/donation to a fund or area of their choice and to make a payment at a later date. By pledging early in the fiscal year, with payment due on June 30, you help Saint Mary’s save printing, mailing, and administrative costs.

To make an electronic funds transfer for a donation to Saint Mary’s Annual Fund, using your bank account, visit www.sms.edu/give. Select “Donation” and follow the instructions. On the payment screen, select ACH/EFT transaction and fill in the form. Be sure to click submit on the last step. You will receive an electronic tax receipt immediately in your email inbox.
