We know the power of one vision - a vision building on the legacy of our historic campus, leading the field in educating girls, and boldly eliminating our debt while strengthening our financial position. Armed with confidence, Saint Mary’s embarks on a campaign to embrace our past and propel us into the future.
Under the leadership of Frank and Ruth E. Perry Holding ’81C, William and Aurelia Monk, Nancy Kerr Thomason ’73HS ’75C, Anna Zevenhuizen ’07, and Mike and Gloria Taft Becker ’92HS, Saint Mary’s Forever Capital Campaign Steering Committee has devised a campaign strategy to ensure the realization of the campus Master Plan and the sustainability of Saint Mary’s mission and vision for future generations. With the help of Raleigh-based campaign counsel Armstrong McGuire, campaign planning is focused on strategies to provide the resources to meet the objectives of the campus Master Plan.
While details of the campaign plan continue to be refined, the steering committee’s initial work has led to critical funding priorities:
There is only one Saint Mary’s. It is a place of unique and powerful value for every girl who steps through its gates. It offers a transformative experience that unites women through time, place, and generations. It has the power to not only change lives but to change the world.
With the help of alumnae, parents, grandparents, faculty, staff , and friends, Saint Mary’s future will be assured, and the Victory Bell will ring for Saint Mary’s forever.
