Brandon served as Saint Mary’s School’s Director of Gift Planning from 2018 to 2023. During his tenure, he revitalized the school’s planned giving program, securing significant deferred, major, and blended gifts that contributed to the success of the Forever Campaign. His dedication and impact during that time were invaluable, and we are thrilled to welcome him back.
Brandon rejoins us from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he served as Senior Director of Gift Planning. In this role, he collaborated with schools and units across Carolina, including the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy, UNC Health Foundation, UNC School of Law, Morehead-Cain Foundation, and Rams Club. Over his 16 years at Carolina, Brandon played a critical role in securing over $100 million in private support, underscoring his expertise in relationship-based philanthropy and comprehensive giving strategies.
Brandon's career in development began at Campbell University Law School as Associate Dean for External Relations, following an early career in banking with Wachovia. A North Carolina native, he holds a B.S. from Appalachian State University and brings a wealth of experience in philanthropy and leadership.
Brandon and his wife, Kelly, reside in Raleigh with their two dogs, Khaki and Fannie Mae.
